Aayush Garg
VP, Operations
Aayush is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Before Wharton, he worked as a Product Manager and Software Engineer at Flipkart (acquired by Walmart), India. As a PM, he worked in the Growth team building products for Flipkart’s next 500 million users and as an engineer, he worked in the Ads & Recommendations department developing big-data and machine learning products for the e-commerce business. Aayush graduated from IIIT Allahabad in 2017 with an Engineering degree in Information Technology.
Alex Mayes

Alex is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, he was a member of the investment team at Compass Diversified (NYSE: CODI), a $3 billion publicly traded private equity investment vehicle that owns and manages a diverse set of middle-market businesses. Previously, he worked in Mergers & Acquisitions within Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University, where he was a member of the inaugural class of NYU Shanghai, China’s first Sino-US research college and the third degree-granting campus of NYU. Alongside his MBA at Wharton, Alex is concurrently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Law from Penn Carey Law.
Alex Palmer

Alex is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, she was an associate in Carlyle’s Global Infrastructure group where she focused on investments in the energy, digital, and renewables sectors. Prior to joining Carlyle, Alex began her career as a member of Morgan Stanley’s Natural Resources team where she focused on M&A and financing transactions in the oil and gas sector. Alex graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. in finance.
Arinze Onyenezi
Co-chair, Operations
Arinze worked for ExxonMobil and Shell Oil Company for four years as an engineer, curating tech solutions, designing chemical production facilities, and tackling complex energy problems. A year before Wharton he moved to Nigeria to scale ethanol manufacturing where he found his interest in private equity. Pivoting to finance, he worked as an associate on the clean energy portfolio of Kapor Capital last summer and currently works as a private equity associate for a renewable energy fund. He has a strong interest in middle-market industrial private equity.
Ayesha Khan

Ayesha is a first-year MBA students at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, Ayesha was an Investment Associate at Achieve Partners, a mid market private equity fund focused on investments in the healthcare, technology and education space. Prior to Achieve, Ayesha was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company where she served private equity clients on due diligence and portfolio strategy, and private sector clients in the industrial and automotive space in the areas of organization, operations, restructuring and corporate strategy. During her time at McKinsey, Ayesha was involved with the McKinsey Center for Future of Mobility where she conducted research on talent requirements for jobs of the future in the autonomous mobility, urban development and ridesharing. Originally from Karachi, Pakistan, Ayesha graduated with a BA in English (Hons.) and a BSc. in Engineering from Smith College.
Celia Lian

Celia Lian is a second-year MBA student at The Wharton School, majoring in Finance and Real Estate. Prior to Wharton, she worked for a real estate developer and a luxury hotel chain focusing on acquisitions and investment covering US and Asia Pacific. In the past summer, Celia interned at Goldman Sachs in Investment Banking, and will join a Real Estate Private Equity firm after graduation.
Christina Dou

Christina is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, she worked in consulting at EY’s Strategy & Business Transformation practice in New York City, where she helped financial institutions with operations strategy and digital transformation. Christina also did a pre-MBA internship in venture capital, primarily looking at investment opportunities in deep tech and cryptos. At Wharton, she is now supporting a consumer product company with its series A investor pitch. She also serves on the Employer Relations committee of the Consulting Club and is the VP of Finance & Fundraising of the Global Impact Consultant Club. Christina graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2017, with double majors in International Relations and Business Analytics Data Science and a concentration in Finance. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga and playing the piano and the harp.
Christtelle Kabran

Christelle is a second-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, she was an Associate at StormHarbour Securities, an investment boutique based in Tokyo, Japan. She was primarily working on capital raising for a Silicon Valley fintech VC fund looking for Japanese investors. She also worked for a Japanese manufacturer where she was responsible for modernizing IT systems. During her first year at Wharton, she worked in-semester for Kiddie Kredit, a Fintech/Edtech startup where she helped the CEO with fundraising and the COO with operational tasks. During the summer, she interned at Edison Partners, a growth equity firm focused on Fintech, Healthcare IT, and Enterprise Solutions. Christelle graduated from Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris 6) with a B.S. in math. She has lived on 4 continents and speaks 5 languages fluently.
Crystal Liu

Crystal is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. She works part-time at Collide Capital currently, helping source and evaluate early-stage tech investment opportunities. Prior to Wharton, she was a tech investor at Bessemer Venture Partners in the Bay Area, where she worked primarily on sourcing, diligencing and evaluating growth-stage enterprise SaaS and cloud software investments. Crystal graduated from Northwestern University in 2017 with a B.A. in mathematics and economics.
Devang Toshniwal

Devang is a second-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, he was an Associate at Warburg Pincus in its Singapore and Mumbai offices covering Southeast Asia and India respectively. During his time at Warburg Pincus, he worked on multiple sectors including financial services, technology, consumer, healthcare and real estate. During his time at Wharton, he spent the summer of 2022 with Warburg Pincus’ US technology investing team and was focused on enterprise SaaS businesses in North America. Devang will be returning to Warburg Pincus’ Singapore office as a Vice President after graduating from Wharton in 2023. Prior to investing, Devang also worked as a management consultant with BCG India in 2017-18 and graduated (Majors in Finance & Accounting) from St. Xavier’s College in 2015 while having completed his Chartered Accountancy (CPA-equivalent) in 2016 and International CFA in 2015.
Dhivesh Dadlani

Dhivesh is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Dhivesh started his career at McKinsey & Company where he split his time across Strategy and New Venture Development for clients in Southeast Asia. He then joined a digital wealth management startup in Singapore, where he was leading the company’s growth efforts across five markets. Dhivesh will be returning to McKinsey & Company after graduating from Wharton in 2024. Dhivesh graduated from Yale-NUS College in Singapore with a B.A in Economics.
Diana Rumman

Diana is a first-year MBA student at the Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, she was a senior internal auditor at ExxonMobil where she led financial compliance audits in the US, Canada, Europe and Africa. She began her career as an environmental project manager at Imperial Oil, a subsidiary of ExxonMobil, managing multi-million dollar environmental cleanup projects at oil and gas sites across Canada, converting them to residential and commercial real estate developments. While at Wharton, Diana hopes to continue to pursue her passion for sustainable development by pivoting into ESG-focused investing. Diana graduated from Queen’s University at Kingston with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with First Class Honors, and specialized in Environmental Engineering.
EriOluwa Oni

EriOluwa is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, she was an Associate Vice President at UCML Capital Limited (an investment bank in Nigeria) where she worked primarily in the Debt Capital Markets practice and with bank and nonbank financial institutions and manufacturing conglomerates. EriOluwa enjoys working on dynamic and impactful projects. She spearheaded market wide initiatives with multiple capital market operator categories in order to remodel SEC’s securities clearance process to reduce time to market and transaction efficiency and expand access to capital markets. In the immediate term, EriOluwa is pursuing a career in Consulting.
EriOluwa graduated from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2016 with a B.Sc. in Economics.
Faye Teng

Faye is a first-year MBA at Wharton pursuing majors in Finance and Management. Faye started her career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Jefferies, transitioned to a Private Equity Associate at Strattam Capital, and was most recently a Manager at ThoughtSpot. She looks to continue working in Private Equity post MBA in 2024. Faye graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 2017 with a triple degree in B.A. in French, B.A. in Economics, and B.S. in Business.

Fidan is a first year student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, she was a cybersecurity engineer at SMBC, a Japanese bank. Fidan graduated from Brown University with a BA in Economics.
Guy Lyle

Guy is a second-year MBA student at the Wharton school. Prior to Wharton, he served in the U.S. Navy as an F/A-18 pilot, deploying operationally and working in the Intelligence Community before separating with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. During his time at Wharton, he has gained experience working in investment banking and middle-market real estate private equity acquisitions. Guy graduated from the University of Virginia in 2011 with a B.S. in Commerce and Johns Hopkins University in 2020 with an M.S. in Applied Financial Economics.
Harold Agblonon

Harold is a second-year MBA student at the Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, he was an Engagement Manager at Deloitte Consulting, where he focused on transformation projects within the financial services industry. During his time at Wharton, he had an opportunity to intern at Cerberus Capital in Commercial Diligence practice. Harold was a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University in Beijing, where he earned a master’s degree in global affairs. Harold graduated from Columbia University, where he earned his BA in Economics & Statistics.
Henry Senkfor

Henry is a first-year MBA student at the Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, Henry first started as an Associate at EY-Parthenon, a market research and consulting firm based in Boston where he focused on technology due-diligence work, before becoming an Associate at AEA Investors, a private equity firm based in New York where he focused on industrial and consumer services investments. Henry graduated from Dartmouth College in 2018 with a B.A. in Economics modified with Mathematics.
Isabela Costa

Isabela is a first-year Joseph Wharton Fellow MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton she worked at Alpine Investors managing their M&A transactions for one of Alpine’s subsidiaries. Before Alpine, Isabela worked for five years at JPMorgan focusing on public markets specifically cross-asset portfolio management within Asset & Wealth Management before switching to the Sales & Trading floor where she traded FX & Emerging Markets covering Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, and Central Banks. Isabela graduated with honors in 2017 from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Political Science and Economics.
Jamilah Middlebrooks

Jamilah is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, she worked with early-stage startups in product and operations. For her pre-MBA experience, she worked as a summer associate for a partner at Concrete Rose capital. Moving forward she would like to help increase access to capital for underrepresented founders. Currently she is a VC Fellow at [can’t announce yet] and hopes to continue building a career in Venture Capital. Jamilah graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
Lisa Yang

Lisa is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. At Wharton, she is leading private equity treks in both New York and London as part of the Private Equity & Venture Capital Club. Prior to Wharton, she was a Vice President at Citi Private Bank where she worked closely with a number of global private equity founders and their firms. She graduated from Hamilton College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Chinese.
Lydia Anglin

Lydia is a third year law student and second-year MBA student at Penn Law and The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, she worked at Goldman Sachs in Regulatory Project Management within their Consumer Bank. At Wharton and Penn Law, Lydia is specializing in Environmental, Social, and Governance topics and serves as an ESG Analytics Research Assistant and Student Attorney within the Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic. After summering in their DC and London offices, Lydia will be returning full-time to Kirkland & Ellis DC as an associate in their ESG & Impact practice with a focus on ESG strategies for private equity clients. Lydia graduated from Cornell University in 2018 with a B.S. in Industrial & Labor Relations with concentrations in business and public policy.
Megan Shea

Megan is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, she was a Client Advisor at Bessemer Trust Company in New York, responsible for providing ultra-high net worth clients with proactive, highly personalized advice across Investment Management, Wealth Planning, and Family Office Services. At Wharton, she is also on the first year board of the Graduate Retail Club and the Fashion Club. Megan graduated from Boston College in 2017 with a BA in International Studies with a concentration in Economics.

Prior to Wharton, he was a Associate at the World Bank where he worked on credit investments in the EMEA region primarily on technology, infrastructure and consumer product projects. Mike graduated from University of California, Berkeley in 2014 with a degree Mathematics and Finance.
Neil Chen

Neil is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, he was a Business Development Associate at AQR Capital Management, one of the largest hedge funds with $226 bn peak AuM, advising institutional investors on asset allocation, structuring custom client portfolios and fundraising. He spent significant time in both the Greenwich headquarter and the London office working with investors across the globe.
Neil graduated from Cornell University in 2018 with a B.S.in Fiber Science and Design Management.
Russell Matambo

Russell is a 1st year MBA student at the Wharton School. Previously, Russell worked at the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) where he focused on growth-stage technology companies in North America, Germany and Israel. Russell started his career in management consulting and investment banking focused on serving telecoms, media and technology (TMT) companies across Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Australia. Russell is a CFA charterholder and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Sanjana is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, she was an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs where she worked primarily with clients in the Industrials and Natural Resources spaces across the New York and London offices. She plans to use her time at Wharton to explore the early stage impact investing space. Sanjana graduated from New York University’s Leonard N. Sonia is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, she was a Senior Associate at BCG where she worked primarily on financial services, digital transformation and future mobility projects. During her time at Wharton, she successfully led the PE career treks in San Francisco and London. She is keen to pivot to an investing role and is looking forward to interning at a PE firm during the summer. Sonia is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is a certified CFA from the CFA Institute, USA. She graduated with honors from The University of Mumbai in 2019 with a Master’s in Commerce and Accounting.

Swagat is a first-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, he was an investment professional at BPEA-EQT ($ 30 Bn AUM PE fund, merged with EQT in October’22) where he focused on enterprise technology buyout opportunities across tech services, health-tech, and software. Prior to BPEA-EQT, he was an investment banking analyst at Rothschild & Co. where he was part of the M&A group covering enterprise technology, consumer, and healthcare sectors. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai.

Sydney is a second-year MBA student at The Wharton School. At Wharton, Sydney serves as a William P. Lauder Leadership Fellow, the Academic Chair of her Cohort, and Co-President of the PE/VC Conference. Prior to Wharton, she was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where she worked primarily on healthcare and social sector projects. While at McKinsey, Sydney was also a McKinsey Global Institute Fellow, where she researched the impact and long-term implications of Covid-19 on consumer behavior. After graduation, Sydney will be joining Crestview Partners as a Vice President. Sydney graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
Taihei Mizukoshi

Taihei is a second-year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, he was an associate at Mitsui & Co., Ltd., one of the largest investment conglomerates in Japan where he worked on various M&A deals and startup investments mainly in the energy and clean-tech sector. During his time at Wharton, he interned at Baring Private Equity Asia (BPEA, recently acquired by EQT Partners, one of the largest private equity funds in Europe), working on leveraged buyout deals in the healthcare sector. Taihei graduated from Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo in 2015 with a B.A. in Law.
Ugo Udeogu
Panel Manager
Ugo is a second year MBA. He was born in the suburbs of Chicago but move to Nigeria at age 6. After 10 years in Nigeria, Ugo left to completed high school in the U.S. at Georgetown Preparatory School, where he learned to play American football and received an offer to play at Butler University. Though he planned to pursue football professionally, his career was cut short due to an injury that occurred during a tryout for the Indianapolis Colts. At Butler University, Ugo majored in Computer Science.
Upon graduation, Ugo worked as a product owner at Eli Lilly. He was later promoted to Service Delivery Manager to lead the Enterprise Automation team in eliminating operational inefficiencies across the company.
This summer, Ugo interned for a search fund principle and at Bank Of America in Healthcare investment banking Group. He plans on working in Investment banking immediately after business school then pursuing entrepreneurship through acquisition.
